There’s nothing worse than looking down at a dish and thinking...“hmm something is missing”? Well, we know what it is! We have three different types of honey and they all fill that hole on your plate, I mean, who doesn’t love a honey glazed carrot?
For our Christmas glazed carrots, we’ll be using the ‘Bush’ honey as its not too sweet, caramel flavour is perfect to create a smooth and caramelised marinade. Check out our other kinds of honey and the types of dishes they complement HERE!
Say goodbye to soggy steamed carrots and hello to the most delicious caramelised honey scrumptiousness that mother nature could find. This dish will be a Christmas Table favourite!
To serve four, you will need
3 tablespoons of olive oil
¼ cup of Gillard Bush Honey
Salt and Pepper to taste
It is as simple as that!
Preheat the oven to 175 degrees C.
Place the carrots whole or sliced lengthways (whatever your preference) into a baking dish, drizzle with olive oil and mix until coated. Smother on the delicious bush honey, season with S&P and then give it a good mix until the carrots are evenly coated.
Bake in the oven for 40minutes - 1hour, until tender, or cooked to your desired degree of caramalisedness.
And there you have it!
